Duke Nonprofit Management Fundamentals: Communications

This interactive workshop will cover the tools for effective nonprofit organization outreach, including: mission development; audience and market; message development; determining the best communications vehicles; handling outreach during a crisis; and assessing results. Instructor Rachel Perry has over 15 years experience in organizational communications and public policy; she currently works with United Way – Success By Six program. A $5 materials fee will be collected at the beginning of class and this must be a check. In addition, lunch can only be paid for by check as well. (6 hrs)
