Clarity Acupuncture Asheville

Clarity Acupuncture is the vision of Sarah E. Thomas MA, LAc, ADS. Located in the heart of Asheville, NC, Clarity Acupuncture offers appointments for a wide variety of patients and can treat an number of conditions. Clarity Acupuncture is an excellent resource for anyone looking for a natural way to be and stay healthy.

I personally have used acupuncture over the years for everything from pain relief for a back injury to stress relief when my work life was very hectic. Sarah has a gentle and powerful spirit. She is highly intuitive, which makes her an exceptional health practitioner. Her attention to detail and ability to connect with patients on physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels adds a richness to her treatments that is rare.

Sarah Thomas specializes in Five Element Acupuncture and is a life long student of Chinese Medicine. She also studied a traditional form of stone and crystal medicine with Jeffrey C. Yuen, an 88th generation Taoist priest and used principles learned in this practice to her patients when appropriate.

Sarah taught Chinese Medicine in a shelter for homeless women in Washington Dc and has treated hundreds of men and women struggling with addiction in Baltimore, MD.  She is one of the few acupuncturists in Asheville certified to perform treatments in Mission Hospital and makes house calls when necessary.

Sarah’s areas of expertise include: women’s health (PMS, menopause, cramps, hot flashes and more), fertility, pregnancy, weight loss, eating disorders, chronic pain, addictions (food, nicotine, alcohol, etc.) and mental health. She enjoys working with children, the elderly and the differently-abled.
