I have been a member of Mountain Bizworks since 2004. The small business programs, support and services not only provide valuable insights and tangible tools for “would be” entrepreneurs, but are also affordable and practical. Based on the principles of microenterprise lending and the practices of Nobel Peace Prize winner and founder of the Grameen Bank Muhammed Yunus, Mountain Bizworks has helped many local businesses and business owners achieve success.
Members of Mountain Bizworks have access to in-depth business planning courses, ongoing technical support, advanced training and small business loans up to $50,000. Since 1989 they have provided business planning training to over 3,000 local entrepreneurs, assisted in the creation of over 1,300 locally-owned businesses and loaned more than $3 million. Mountain Bizworks alumni businesses contribute over $50 million annually to the local economy. Monthly membership with Mountain Bizworks gives small businesses access to a variety of classes, expert consulting and professional services all for the low monthly dues of $12.
