Been there, done that -

DIY Tech Geeks are self-employed business owners who love technology and wish to share that knowledge with other small business owners. We understand first hand what it is like to implement technology tools in our business.   Having been there and done that, we offer real-life practical coaching on how to implement these technology tools in your business.

We love technology -

We love technology and have successfully implemented many of these tools to to help make our businesses more efficient, more productive and in the end, more profitable.  We love technology for what it does to improve our operations, our customer service as well as our bottom line.

What we do -

DIY Tech Geeks help businesses learn and implement these technology tools for themselves in a do-it-yourself format.Each participant brings their own wireless enabled laptop or tablet and follows along to actually implement these tools here and now rather than later at home and alone.

We are mobile -

We are mobile. We come to you.  We host our workshops at business sites that offer wireless, tables & chairs and a friendly learning space.  As a benefit, the business host site can attend the workshop for free.  We promote your business and we bring potentially new customers to you!

We are custom. Each workshop is kept intentionally small (no more than 10 participants) so we can provide personal, one-on-one coaching and training.  In many cases we are able to customize the workshop to the type of businesses participating.  After all, a consulting business has different needs than a brick and mortar business although both may use the same tools.

Most importantly – our method is do-it-yourself. These tools are free but not so easy to use.  That’s where we help guide you through the process. You bring your laptop (or borrow one from us) or smartphone or tablet and go through the workshops applying the lessons to your business.

We are experienced and we guide you as you learn how to implement and use technology tools for your business.  Rather than trying to figure it out on your own late at night and after hours of frustration, wouldn’t it be nice to have a coach beside you – guiding you, walking you through it?

Let’s face it. It’s free but it takes time to implement these tools.  Why spend 5 hours doing something that should have only taken 1 hour?

Small business owners are by nature do-it-yourself type of people.  There’s nothing wrong with that.  However, you will learn faster with a coach who can walk you through it step by step and who has done it before.  You will walk away from each workshop having achieved the objective of the workshop.

Online tutorials are there as backup should you decide you need to do it again for another business or to help someone else out.
