The Western North Carolina Innovation Ecosystem: What’s Missing?

Join us for a networking reception and lively discussion about innovation and economic development at the 2012 AdvantageWest Economic Summit

Monday Nov 19, downtown Asheville
Reception 5:30pm; Panel Discussion 7pm

One of the most popular business events of the year is back: The AdvantageWest Economic Summit. Join us for a lively discussion about innovation . . . innovation in business thinking . . . innovation in policy . . . innovation in education . . . and innovation in how we think about innovation. Our distinguished panelists will address “ecosystem” challenges, such as infrastructure, regulatory frameworks, education, tech transfer and a host of other issues that impact  how innovation drives job creation in Western North Carolina.

Whether you’re a business owner, economic developer, policymaker, public official or educator, you will want to join this discussion. The event takes place on Monday, November 19 at Diana Wortham Theatre in downtown Asheville, with nearby convenient parking. As always, the evening starts with a networking reception at 5:30pm, providing plenty of opportunity for sharing thoughts and ideas, followed at 7pm by the program and panel discussion.

Registration is $50 and open to the public. Cost includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, beverages and admittance to the panel discussion.
