We have some BIG news this year: ASAP’s 2016 Farm Tour is moving to JUNE! It will be the same tour you know and love, just in the summer instead. The Farm Tour is your opportunity to meet local farmers and get a behind-the-scenes peek into the working farms of Western North Carolina.

ASAP’s 2016 Farm Tour
When:
Saturday & Sunday, June 25-26, 12-5 pm both days
Where: Participating family farms across the central mountains of Western North Carolina.
HowPurchase your pass online and save on advanced pricing. One Farm Tour car pass is good for a full car load of people! Passes are $30 in advance; $40 the weekend of the tour.

purchase your passDetails: For one weekend every year Western North Carolina farms open their barn doors to the public. The Farm Tour is a chance for you to experience how food is grown and raised in the mountains, taste farm fresh products, meet farm animals, and connect with the community’s food producers. Discover some of Western North Carolina’s unique and beautiful working farms through tours, demonstrations, and hands-on activities. Pick up a tour map, choose your route, and set out with your friends and family to learn about the region’s agricultural heritage.

Volunteer for the Tour: Spend one day greeting visitors at a participating farm and then tour for free on the day you aren’t volunteering. Sign up to volunteer or contact Robin for more information at robin@asapconnections.org.
