A list of ScaleUp WNC alums reads like a roster of Asheville’s fastest-growing startups, and for good reason. The program offers a dynamic, actionable, growth-oriented curriculum including class-based sessions, a capstone demo day, and a minimum of 10 hours of one-on-one technical assistance and mentoring. Startups can expect to walk away from ScaleUp WNC with the solid toolkit, energized peer network, and capital connections to achieve breakthrough growth.
Each ScaleUp WNC cohort program includes an opening dinner event, six class-based sessions, a capstone demo day event (optional), and a minimum of 10 hours of one-on-one technical assistance and mentoring to support the implementation of your strategic growth plan.
The tentative dates for the Cohort 5 and 6 sessions follow. ScaleUp WNC program participants are expected to attend all of the sessions for your cohort. Cohort 5 sessions will either be held in a central WNC location (i.e., Asheville) or could move around based on the preferences of the accepted businesses. We are planning for Cohort 6 to be our first cohort hosted in Boone, providing greater program accessibility to High Country area businesses, though not necessarily exclusive to businesses based in the High Country.
Applications for the first 2017 cohort are due January 29th. Visit scaleupwnc.com for more info, including the full list of the 60 Asheville companies who’ve completed the program.
