This class will explore the five key steps to planning and executing an effective digital marketing plan. A successful marketing strategy requires a clear branding, research, content development, promotional partners, and a distribution or promotion plan. In this class we will focus on tips and best practices to efficiently and effectively navigate these steps. We will also explore tools, checklists, and time-saving practices so that you can move quickly from strategy to execution.
#2 How to Identify Key Metrics that Define Your Digital Marketing Success – Sarah Benoit, Director of Training and Lead Instructor, JB Media Institute
Once you’ve created a digital marketing plan, it’s essential that metrics be assigned to each aspect of your strategy in order to quantify success. Walk through the process of reviewing your plan and connecting each strategy and tactic to specific data that clearly defines success. Learn how to identify your specific KPI’s (key performance indicators), create benchmarks for your current marketing, and outline the types of reports you want to create and review regularly.

Justin has been providing professional social media content and advertising strategy since 2009. His primary focus has been learning and implementing effective social media advertising strategies on Facebook including working with clients focused on event promotions, local retail, restaurants, large events, tourism, and professional services.
Sarah has been advising businesses on their web presence and building WordPress websites since 2003. She is the co-founder and lead instructor of the JB Media Institute, an Internet marketing educational program. Sarah possesses a deep enthusiasm for sharing knowledge with others and helping small businesses amplify their digital reach. She is also President of Creative Original, Inc., a small business web design firm.
